Many of Highland High School students live in families that are far below the poverty level.

Many of those families living in poverty are new immigrants. There are 63 languages spoken at HHS, and a number of students have little or no English. And sadly, 50 students have no real homes or secure housing, often sleeping wherever they can. Hunger is a real issue here.

The Highland High Student and Family Support offers help and hope to these students. But they need some Highland Helpers to help. That’s us! No special skills needed.
