I was impressed with our youth yesterday; they were very welcoming and inclusive to the ten visiting youth from the local Unitarian Universalist congregation. Thanks to Shantel for providing treats, with enough to go around for our visitors, too.
For those of you going out of town for Thanksgiving, safe travels this holiday weekend! For families planning to attend Worship Sunday, please let me know if your youth can help out with the Minute for Mission at either service. I will provide the script but am in need of youth acting skills!
Please take a minute to put the November & December youth happenings on your family calendar.
COFFEE OR BAGEL RUN
Sunday, November 25th, 10:10 - 11:10 A.M.
For those in town, we'll drive over to a local coffee shop or walk over to Einstein's (depending on the weather) in lieu of Sunday School.
MINUTE FOR MISSION
Sunday, November 25th, 9 A.M. & 11:15 A.M.
Youth will be providing the Minute for Mission during both services, talking about our summer trips & wreath fundraiser. Please let me know which service your youth can participate.
Saturday, December 1st, 4-8 P.M.
Youth will bake cookies for the bake sale the next day and prepare the bake sale table and wreath fundraiser pick-up. Dinner provided. We will also be packaging cookies to be delivered to those Wasatch Presbyterian members who cannot easily get out of the house and can use some Christmas cheer!
Sunday, December 2nd, 9 A.M. - Noon
All hands on deck! I am asking all parents and youth to contribute items to the bake sale fundraiser for summer trips. Breads, cookies and pies seem to be top sellers.

Family friendly festival with soup, music, crafts, nativity dress up, animals and more. Youth will take shifts selling baked goods.
Monday, December 3rd, 6 - 7:30 P.M.

Sundays, 10:10 A.M. - Loft
We are currently journeying through the Old Testament and learning to take the Bible seriously without taking it literally. Last Sunday, we talked about the book of Ruth which went great with Scott's sermon!
If you are available to bring brunch treats (donuts, bagels, muffins, fruit, etc. for 12 youth - 1 person is gluten free), the hungry teens would appreciate it! Please sign up for a Sunday that works for you! Sunday Brunch Treat Sign Up
