RECAP:

We had a great time volunteering with 200 others for United Way of Salt Lake's Day of Action (#beaforceofgood). They even gave us T-shirts, breakfast and lunch!  Summer activities are going to be light on attendance as everyone’s summer schedules are so varied but these small groupings will benefit us as we continue to create and build a culture of friendship and community.

YOUTH ACTIVITY THIS SUNDAY:

LUNCH OUTING
(11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.) The youth are invited to go out to lunch after church and then play games in the loft.  Bring $10 (we will take a vote on where we want to eat lunch).  Please email me (if you have not already) if your youth plans to join us.

Also this Sunday,  youth will be collecting the offering during 10 a.m. worship.

NEXT WEEK:

Tuesday, July 3: All church BBQ!  The youth will have the opportunity to hang out with each other in organized, unorganized and disorganized activities!

LATER THIS SUMMER:

Saturday, July 14: (8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.) Service Project at the Food Bank & lunch afterward.

July 15-20: Jr High Camp at Camp Tuttle

July 22-27: High School Camp at Camp Tuttle

Saturday, July 28 - Sunday, July 29: Overnight Camping trip at Affleck Park.  We are hoping to make this family friendly with entire families coming up for the afternoon/evening/dinner/smores before leaving their youth to rough it in the tents overnight. We will be back in time for 10 a.m. worship.  I would like to know who might be considering this fun activity.  Please send me a quick email reply.  I will also need two additional chaperones.

Monday evening, July 30: Youth Families Activity - Bees Game
