R E C A P :
We had a great weekend filled with youth activities. Thank you to all youth and parents who participated. We raised over $600 during the Bake Sale! A handful of wreaths and greenery remain to be sold but we are projected to make an additional $800+ from our Greenery Fundraiser. All money raised will go toward our summer mission trip.

This Saturday, December 9:
YOUTH LOCK-IN (OVERNIGHT) 7PM:
We will play games, eat, and watch movies (and possibly get some sleep!). This is a great event to invite a friend to that may want to become part of our youth group. Bring sleeping bags, clothes for church, pajamas, and a snack to share. Please RSVP if your youth is attending!
Thursday, December 7:
YOUTH COMMITTEE MEETING
5PM at my house
Saturday evening, December 16:
We will attend the symphony as a group (for those who are not attending with their own family). Nathan Florence is narrating and Marian is playing in the symphony. Please RSVP by Friday, December 8 so I can request the right amount of tickets from Marian.
We will have confirmation classes for youth, 9th grade & older, beginning in late January. Confirmation will be held for a series of ten sessions in a casual conversational format. We will explore the Christian faith, Presbyterian denomination, the role religion plays in society and our individual lives, and where we are at (and want to be) in our faith journeys. This is an open and accepting class where youth can ask questions without cliche answers. At the end of the ten sessions, participants will write their own faith statements and decide how they want to move forward in their individual faith journey. Contact me for more details or to sign up.
