Sunday School

We begin Sunday School with music and chapel time, then children go to their age-group rooms for activities, lessons, and crafts. For the 2018-2019 year, classes will be using the following curriculum:

  • Children under 4 will hear a Bible story, have a snack, and play in the Nursery with our dedicated team of caregivers.
  • Kindergartners, First graders, and Second graders will meet in the Art Room and explore the Spark! Story Bible and use the Spark! Lectionary curriculum, which corresponds to the lectionary readings happening during the church service each week. Lessons will include a story, a craft, a game or two, snack, and circle time.
  • Third and Fourth graders will meet in the Theater Room and will use the Deep Blue Kids Bible and the PCUSA Growing in Grace and Gratitude curriculum. Each week will focus on a particular Bible story and act of service, and lessons will include a craft, game, and snack.
  • Club 56 will meet in the lounge and will use the NIV Story Bible and the PCUSA Growing in Grace and Gratitude curriculum, as well as Illustrated Children's Ministry curriculum. Lessons are discussion-based and will include activities and a snack.
