Wreaths Across America (WAA)
Each December, communities across the country gather for services remembering our veterans and to participate in laying of wreaths at veteran gravesites. While the largest ceremony and volunteer event occurs at Arlington National Cemetery, cities and towns across the country participate on a local level.
In Salt Lake City, the ceremony and laying of wreaths will be at Fort Douglas Cemetery on December 15th at 10:00 a.m. You can donate a wreath to be placed at the Fort Douglas location (or any location) and/or volunteer your time to help with the laying of wreaths.
Please help Remember, Honor and Teach by sponsoring a wreath, volunteering or inviting friends to help. WAA was formed as a non-profit organization in 2007 and aims to “remember, honor and teach” about our military veterans.
