A very warm thank you to Terresa Newport for her time with us as Interim Pastoral Associate. Wasatch was blessed to have her on staff, and we are blessed going forward to have her as a member and volunteer!
A very warm welcome to Andrew and Dawn Fleishman, who join us this weekend as our new Pastoral Associate and Youth Director, respectively. They just arrived from Washington state with their three children. Be sure to say hi during Coffee Hour!
Coffee Hour refreshments are needed! Sign up on the clipboards in Fellowship Hall. It's easy: drop off your refreshments on the way to service and you're done! Congregational Life will take care of set up and clean up.
Our phone system upgrade is finally done, so we encourage everyone to utilize the new voicemails available for staff. The best part is that voicemails now forward to staff emails, making it easier for staff to stay connected when they are working off-site. Thank you for your patience during this long process!
Please note that the Positive Parenting class has moved downstairs, to the table by the big kitchen on the Main Floor. The move was made in recognition of the many demands on Fellowship Hall space on Sunday mornings, as well as in support of Children’s Ministry needs.
Service at Wasatch
Get to know the Wasatch Library! We invite all to swing by during the new"Library Hour" between worship services. Also, notes that the Library Book Sale will be November 5th. If you’re clearing shelves and wish to donate books to the sale, please leave them in in the Library - or at the at the church office.
Support Presbyterian Disaster Assistance’s emergency response and long-term recovery work in the areas affected by recent hurricanes by writing a check to Wasatch Pres. Church with “hurricane assistance” in the memo.
The homeless and low-income population keeps growing, and they are still hungry. As you're out shopping, please consider non-perishable food donations to Crossroads Urban Center. Place your donations in the shopping cart near the entrance to the chapel. Thanks!
