Sunday, October 29, is Reformation Sunday. We note this every year. But THIS year it's different, as we will be celebrating the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther's posting of 95 arguments against the Catholic Church on the door of the church in Wittenberg, Germany. All ages will be celebrating with special activities that morning, including a special organ performance of A Mighty Fortress Is Our God, written by Martin Luther himself.
The sermons for the next two Sundays continue our Stewardship series on constructing a Credo that fits us as individuals, as a church, and for the time in which we live. Our hope is that you have received a Stewardship letter from the church with a pledge card in it. If not, those cards are available in the pews or in the church office. If you haven’t filled one out already, please do. Budget meetings for 2018 are underway and we would love to know what to expect for income moving forward into a new year.
