It’s feeling like fall, with leaves to rake and a strong chill in the air.  May you embrace the changing seasons and find warm places to gather.  This weekend, Session will come together at Snowbird for a retreat.  Please send them guiding prayers and gratitude for all they give to Wasatch.

LIBRARY OPEN HOUSE AND BOOK SALE

Thanks to all who made the open house and book sale such an enormous success last Sunday!!  You showered us with books, then kindly bought them back!  Many books never made it to the sale - they’ll be catalogued and on the shelves shortly.  You helped raise over $400 – as a result watch for new books and some upgrades in the library in the coming months.  Full report will be in the December Bridge Builder.

LADIES’ NIGHT IN

CROSSROADS URBAN CENTER ANNUAL THANKSGIVING FOOD GIVEAWAY

THIS SUNDAY we’ll be handing out grocery bags for folks to fill up with non-perishable traditional Thanksgiving dinner side items.  Return bags by next Sunday, November 18th.  Also, if you donate $10 at Harmons they will match it for Crossroads.

WASATCH 101 WRAPS UP

CLUB 56 AND YOUTH SERVICE PROJECT

This Sunday from 12:15-2:00 p.m. the Youth & Club 56ers will have lunch at church then go to For the Kids to pack backpacks full of food to support their organization, which provides food for kids in Salt Lake who experience food insecurity.

MONDAY EVENING ADULT EDUCATION

Jan Bartlett’s class entitled “New Ways to Read the Bible” on Mondays from 7-9 p.m. in room 355 continues.  Please arrive on time and everyone is welcome!

CHRISTMAS PLAY

The Christmas Play is coming!  Parents, please contact Hilary at hlambert@wpcslc.org to sign your child(ren) up to participate no later than Nov. 14.  The play will be performed during both worship services on Dec. 16.

MOMS OF PRESCHOOLERS (MOPS)

DAYTRIP TO THE SPRINGVILLE ART MUSEUM

THANKSGIVING DINNER

Anyone seeking to share Thanksgiving with their church family is invited to join in a potluck meal on Thanksgiving Day at Wasatch from 3:30-5:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall.  Roasted turkeys will be provided, guests are asked to bring sides and dessert, help with dishes and clean-up after dinner.  Guests are also invited to bring any favorite games to enjoy with others following the meal.  To RSVP, please email reception@wpcslc.org or call the office at (801) 487-7576.

ADVENT FESTIVAL

All ages are welcome to join us in kicking off the Advent Season at our annual Advent Festival on December 2nd, from 5-7 p.m. in Fellowship Hall.  We’ll share a soup supper and enjoy a variety of activities including a carol sing-a-long, Advent crafts, handbells, live nativity animals and the Youth Bake Sale.

FAMILY PROMISE

Our next hosting week is December 2nd - 9th.  Wasatch supports these families as they work to break out of the homelessness cycle and get back on their feet.  You can make a meal, act as a host, or even spend the night.  No experience necessary!  Sign up online at www.wpcslc.org or after worship in Fellowship Hall.

YOUTH GREENERY SALE DURING NOVEMBER

The Youth will be taking pre-orders for their holiday wreath and greenery fundraiser during both Coffee Hours.  Support the Youth’s summer plans while decorating for Christmas!
