CELEBRATION SUNDAY

THIS SUNDAY we celebrate the end of our program year with a special combined worship service in which we’ll ordain and install new officers, give Bibles to the third graders, have a baptism, honor our confirmands, enjoy the Children’s Choir and recognize our many volunteers!

 

MOM’S BOOK CLUB

TONIGHT, 7:00 p.m. at Dawn’s home.  Even if you didn’t quite finish Ginny Moon, please come!

 

OFFICER TRAINING & LUNCHEON

For next year’s officers, don’t forget the training and luncheon tomorrow, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall.  See you all there!

 

CHILDREN’S SERVICE PROJECT

Children and their families are invited to assist in Family Promise set-up.  This is the Children’s Ministry’s last service project of the school year.  PreK-3rd graders and their parents will help pack lunches for guests and 4th-6th graders and their parents will help set-up guest rooms. Please join us as we prepare to welcome those in need into our church.

 

SUMMER WORSHIP

Get ready for summer worship again!  Beginning Memorial Day weekend and running through Labor Day, we’ll gather for just one combined worship service each Sunday at 10a.m.  The service will include music and elements from both the 9a.m. and the 11:15 a.m. worship.

 

SUMMER SECOND SUNDAY BRUNCH

A committee hosts brunch each month (June, July & August) by providing the main dish and the congregation is asked to bring a side to share.  We have openings in June and August for hosts, any month without a host will not have a brunch.  If you’re interested in hosting, please contact Courtney Raines at courtney.raines@wpcslc.org.

 

SUMMER CHOIR

Calling all singers for Summer Choir each Sunday throughout the summer!  Meet in the Choir Room at 9:15 a.m. to learn the anthem.

 

CLUB 56 POOL OUTING

SUNDAY, meet at church at 2p.m. to carpool to the Netto’s home.  Bring your suit, towel and a snack to share.  RSVP to Hilary at hlambert@wpcslc.org.  Open to current 5th/6th graders.

 

DAD’S NIGHT OUT

On Tuesday, May 22nd at 8p.m. we’ll gather at the Sugarhouse Pub (1992 S. 1100 E.) and take time to hang out with the guys.  RSVP to Ethan Kiburtz (kiburtz@msn.com) or just show up!

 

YOUTH SERVICE PROJECT

Tuesday, May 22nd from 5:30-7:30 p.m. the youth will make and serve dinner to the Family Promise Guests.  All youth are welcome to come!

 

LUNCH AFTER CHURCH

Sunday, May 27th from 11:30-2:30 the youth are invited to lunch and then we’ll head back to the loft for games & fun.  Bring $10 for lunch.

 

YOUTH LEADERSHIP TEAM

Wednesday, May 30th from 6-8 p.m., 9th-12th graders who would like to be involved in organizing and planning youth events and service projects should attend this initial meeting. At this meeting, we will plan our summer activities and then we’ll meet monthly throughout the school year.

 

ROYAL FAMILY KIDS CAMP

CAMP WASATCH
