March For Our Lives, SLC
Tomorrow, Saturday, March 24th, 9AM - 2PM
Join hundreds of thousands of people marching in 800+ marches around the world, demanding that the safety of our schools and community become a priority and that gun violence ends.

Youth (and adults who want to stand with the youth to March For [Their] Lives) will meet at the church from 9 - 9:45AM to make signs and then take TRAX over to West High School to begin the march to the state capital building to end gun violence.  Breakfast bagels & donuts provided.  Bring a water bottle and $5 for TRAX.  Adults who would like to join us are welcome!  NOTE change in end time: The march and rally end at 1PM so we will return to the church at 2PM.

Children’s Ministry Palm Sunday Event
Sunday, March 25th in the gym, kids and parents are invited to Sunday School.  Enjoy a Holy Week “Walk,” shaving cream foot washing, A Last Supper snack, Holy Week wreath making, Palm leaf crosses and other crafts and activities.


Lenten Practices
A reminder that Prayer Stations are available in the Chapel at anytime during Lent. These are intended to provide purposeful prayer.
 
Easter Lilies
Due this Sunday, March 25th - The Deacons are collecting dedications for Easter Lilies.  Each dedication is $15, yellow forms are in the office or foyer.  Contact Angie Richardson atpinnaclecanyon@hotmail.com.
 
One Great Hour of Sharing
This Sunday, March 25th we will join with Presbyterian Churches around the country in the One Great Hour of Sharing offering.  These offerings are split between (3) missions: Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, Presbyterian Hunger Program, and Presbyterian Committee on the Self Development of People.
 
Wasatch 101
All are invited to come learn about Wasatch and the Presbyterian Church, this Sunday, March 25th at 10:10am in RM 116.
 
Youth Service Project
This Sunday, March 25th during Sunday School, the Youth will fill Easter bags with candy to be distributed to the guests at St. Vincent de Paul’s Soup Kitchen.
 
Serving Easter Dinner
A sign-up is available in Fellowship Hall to prepare and serve Easter Dinner on Saturday, March 31st at St. Vincent de Paul Dining Hall (437 W. 200 S.).  Please join in this decades old service that Wasatch has provided.
 
Maundy Thursday Service
March 29th at 7:00pm, please plan to join us for a special communion service followed by an adaptation of the ancient Tenebrae service.  "Tenebrae" is the Latin word meaning "shadows."  The gradual extinction of the candles during the service is accompanied by the chancel choir singing chorales.
 
Shredding at Wasatch
As you clean out your files from 2017 (where did it go??) consider bringing them to Wasatch.  Rocky Mountain Shredding comes every 4 months and the cost is $5.00 per bankers box (which offsets the cost for the office usage).  We have a secure container under lock and key and appreciate the small donations!  Email reception@wpcslc.org for more info.
 
Mom’s Night Out
