Thanks to all the grounds cleaning volunteers! Just a note to thank all who volunteered their time last Saturday to help with clean-up and gardening around the church grounds.  A special thank-you to the youth group and Annalise who worked tirelessly to spare the older volunteers the harder tasks.

Join us for a Father's Day brunch on June 18th after service. It's a potluck brunch, Congregational Life will provide the main dishes, please bring something to share. If you forget, that's okay, there is always abundance and we'd rather have you there anyway!

The Summer church office hours, when office staff will be available to assist, will be Monday-Friday 9-12. For office help outside those hours, don't hesitate to contact Rebecca Sandulli (rsandulli@wsdpc.org415-205-1471).  Please note the building will be accessible as usual during other times, with custodians present.

Calling all singers for Summer Choir each Sunday throughout the summer.  Meet in the Choir Room at 9:15am to learn the anthem.
 
Camp Wasatch starts Sunday!  6-7:30pm June 11, 12, and 13 for 2 year olds-3rd graders. We will learn about the Parables of Jesus through stories, songs, snacks, & games. For more details and to sign up, see Hilary Lambert.

Dick Wunder and friends will present a concert in honor of immigrants, Saturday, June 24, 7 p.m. in the church sanctuary.  Music will include songs by Dick Wunder, including a 40 minute opera based on The Lord of the Rings, and songs by immigrant Broadway composers (Victor Herbert, Sigmund Romberg, Irving Berlin).

Looking ahead to summer, mark your calendars for our annual July 3 BBQ—5pm at the Parley’s Creek Pavilion in Sugarhouse Park.  

Join us for another weekend of mountain fun and fellowship at the all-church Labor Day retreat September 2-4 at Camp Tuttle at the top of Big Cottonwood.  Pick up a flyer in the foyer by the Sanctuary or on the website. Also, if you'd like to join the Retreat Committee, please let Rebecca Sandulli know at rsandulli@wpcslc.org.  New faces & ideas welcome! 

Crossroads Urban Center continuing Food Drive: fill up a bag with food, bring it back for distribution to the homeless.  Especially needed: protein items such as peanut butter, canned tuna, chili & non-perishable foods.  The homeless generally have no way to cook food, so please consider canned goods with tab-openings, or ready to consume items such as cereal, etc .
