Starting SUNDAY through August 4. We have the blessing to host some families for the week who are in need of housing. To sign up online to help, go to www.wpcslc.org/family-promise Also, a reminder that during Family Promise weeks the CM Rooms, Library, Gym, Kitchen, and Conference Room are in use. Thanks to all for your flexibility!

Registration is now open for the Labor Day Retreat! All ages are invited to join us August 31- September 2nd for a weekend of fun and fellowship in the mountains. For more information about the Retreat and to register, please go towww.wpcslc.org/labor-day-retreat. Any questions, please contact Rebecca Sandulli at rsandulli@wpcslc.org. All are invited, especially anyone new to Wasatch!

The Personnel Committee will soon initiate the search process for a new Children’s Ministry Director. To support the ministry during the search process, we are seeking individuals within the congregation who might be interested in serving as the Interim Children’s Ministry Director(s). If/as needed or desired, the position could be shared by more than one individual. The key areas of focus would be communications and scheduling, Sunday School management (curriculum and teachers provided), and leadership at fellowship and service activities. Expected commitment would be 10-20 hours/week for at least 2-3 months. Anyone interested is invited to contact John Horel, Personnel Chair at johnhorel@gmail.com, or Rebecca Sandulli, Executive Director, at rsandulli@wpcslc.org.

This Monday, July 29 from 6pm - 9pm. The Youth will cook, serve, and clean up dinner for shelter guests at the Rescue Mission of Salt Lake. RSVP to Dawn and meet at the church at 6pm.

Each Sunday throughout the summer, anyone who wishes to sing in the choir for that Sunday's service is invited to come to the choir room for a short rehearsal at 9:30 to learn the anthem for the day. The music is straightforward and fun!

Save the date for August 25 where youth will lead all aspects of the Worship service and share thoughts and reflections of their summer service opportunities.

It happens to everyone, you’re enjoying the postlude and soaking up the energy of worship when you leave behind your cell phone, a notebook, bracelet or favorite travel mug. We keep lost items on the main level, by the reception desk. Items of value (cell phones and jewelry) are kept safe and need a staff member’s help to access. If you find something, please bring it to the main office lost and found.

Join us each Sunday during the Summer from 9-10am, in room 116 for a class on “Manifesting God within and around through prayer, meditation, sacred readings and mindfulness.”
