Thank You: Our Mardi Gras and Ash Wednesday help was overwhelming.  Thank you to everyone who pitched in, rolled up their sleeves and made oodles of bacon and pancakes, washed dishes, served food and protected the whip cream reserves!  A special thank you to the Boy Scouts for coming to clean up after Mardi Gras.  Although Ash Wednesday is meant to be a simple supper, there was nothing simple about the many soup offerings we ended up with.  Thank you to those that brought soup and helped clean up afterwards - we truly appreciate you!

Lenten Practices: The season of Lent is a time preparation, self-reflection and repentance where we seek to literally “turn around” and realign our lives and focus toward God.  It is a time to give up things as well as take on new life-giving practices, in the hope of helping to rid ourselves of distractions.  We do this, striving to live and love as more faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.  During the month of March WPC will have Prayer Stations located in the Chapel as well as Soul Collage, with dates to be determined.  May God help us in this time to be more aware and present.

Special Thank You: The staff would like to thank the kind soul that went through the effort of having cookies made with each of our names on them.  We were delighted to have such a thoughtful and delicious treat - thank you!
