Wasatch is in the middle of hosting Family Promise this week and things have been going well. It’s a smaller group this time and appreciate the tireless support Allison has provided and all the volunteers’ efforts!
For many, Allan is the go to guy. He has been under the weather this week and the rest of the staff has tried vehemently to keep him home to rest… an enormous challenge! If you find remnants from the Advent Festival or other things askew this weekend, we’re just making sure you’re paying attention. Please keep Allan in your thoughts and prayers.

2019 PLEDGE ENVELOPES ARE READY
Pick up your envelopes on your way in to service on Sunday. They will be located on the tables below the name tags.
Order forms for Christmas Poinsettias to decorate the sanctuary this holiday are available in the Church pews and in the Church Office. Forms will be accepted through SUNDAY. The cost is $15 per plant and following the Christmas Eve Worship Service, you are welcome to take the plant home or have the deacons deliver them to a Church member.
THE GIVING TREE
We are participating in the Utah Foster Care Foundation’s Giving Tree program, which collects gifts for children of all sizes and ages who are in foster care. Please take an ornament with a child's name and requested gifts, buy the item(s), and place them back, unwrapped, under the tree. Any gift cards can be left in the Church Office or given to Shelley Horel. All gifts will be distributed in time for Christmas to go to children who cannot be in their homes for the holidays. All gifts should be in by Monday, December 10th. Gift cards for emergencies are always welcomed, and can be donated after the 10th.
ALTERNATIVE GIFTS MARKET
Visit the tables in Fellowship Hall during both Coffee Hours to learn more about these worthwhile alternative gift options. The market will continue to be available in Fellowship Hall every Sunday morning until December 23rd.
There are a few ways the Sudanese community can use support. During December we will be collecting money for Walmart gift cards and they have also expressed a need for used laptops and iPads (leave any at the church office). At this time of year, the Sudanese are also in need of winter coats, hats & gloves (all sizes), along with the ongoing need for new pillows, sheets and blankets. Thanks for your support. For questions, contact Jane.
