Church News

Stop by Wasatch on Saturday between 9:00 and 1:00 to support the Cub Scout car wash and bake sale! Proceeds help our local troop.

Don't forget to bring your donation this Sunday! August 6 and August 13 are designated "Undie Sundays".  We will be collecting underwear and socks in all sizes for children in the foster care system.  Please consider picking up a package or two for children who are struggling.  All donations will be delivered to the Utah Foster Care Foundation for distribution.  Look for the marked bin in the Fellowship Hall.   

Join us next week for second Sunday brunch on August 13! Main course will be provided; bring a side to share or just yourself!

Sudanese Fund Raiser-It’s time to start saving for the annual rummage sale and boutique which will be held Aug. 12 & 13 in the gym.  Please consider donating household goods, childrens clothing, books, fashion accessories, jewelry, tools, toys, outdoor gear, linens, and small furniture items.  If you have handcrafted items to donate, that would be great. Paul & Leora Hewitt will lead a group from Wasatch visiting Chiang Mai School in January.  Please consider picking up school supplies and schoolyard toys such as pencils, paper, jump ropes, etc to donate to their efforts.  You can bring donations to church.

Calling all singers for Summer Choir each Sunday throughout the summer.  Meet in the Choir Room at 9:15am to learn the anthem.

The RSVP’s are coming in for the all-church Labor Day Retreat September 2nd-4th at Camp Tuttle.  Our theme is “Make Me an Instrument of Your Peace”and all ages are encouraged to join us for the day, the night, or all weekend.  See the flyer in the foyer or on the website. 

Wasatch has a new shredder that enables us to offer shredding services to the congregation.  Contact Susie at or call the church office (801.487.7576) to make arrangements. $5 per bankers box.

We are in need of ushers for the month of August. There is a sign-up sheet on a table out in Fellowship Hall. Stop by, see Rocky and sign-up..... 

Check the Lost & Found for your items! Leftover items will be donated to the Sudanese Fund Raiser next Saturday.
