Daffodils are blooming and trees are beginning to blossom as well.  Our world continues to come to life.  Prayers that we can see the wonder in it all and with one another.

FIFTH SUNDAY IN LENT: “YOU WON’T ALWAYS HAVE ME” - John 12: 1-8

Lazarus has been raised.  Jesus’ feet get anointed for burial.  The poor you will always have with you but you won’t always have me.  Wake up call.

It's the WOW SPRING BOUTIQUE tomorrow!!

WoW invites you to come check out twenty local vendors in the gym at Wasatch tomorrow from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.  Lunch will be available from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. for $10.00.  The proceeds benefit Local Mission.

There will be vendor donations for drawings.  $1.00 per ticket or 6 tickets for $5.00. Bring in canned goods for Crossroads and receive a drawing ticket!  Help is greatly appreciated! – Contact is Janet Wortley.

NEW ADULT MEDITATION CLASS BEGINS SUNDAY

Join us each Sunday in room 355 from 8:15 a.m. - 9:00 a.m., (during the summer 9:15 - 10:00 a.m.) for a class on “Manifesting God within and around through prayer, meditation, sacred readings and mindfulness”.  Peggy Riedesel is generously leading this class.

YOUTH CONFIRMATION CLASS

Monday, April 8th from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.  Pastor Scott will be teaching this week in the Loft.  Remember, a draft of each student's Statement of Faith is due April 17th.

PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN OF UTAH SPRING GATHERING

The semi-annual PW Spring Gathering will be held on April 12th & 13th in Springville, Utah at the Springville Community Presbyterian Church.  Friday, April 12, schedule is  5:00 - 9:00 p.m. (dinner served) and Saturday, April 13, is 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (lunch served).  Contact Janet Wortley for reservations by Sunday, April 7th.

LENTEN RETREAT

Led by former Director of Spiritual Formation Heather Monkmeyer.  All are invited to gather on the threshold of holy week for a spacious day of opening to the surprises God might have for each of us.  In a contemplative setting, and with a spirit of wonder, we’ll engage scripture, poetry, art and music, each as a different language of prayer with a mix of individual and community time.  Saturday, April 13th, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.  Childcare is available.  Please RSVP ASAP either via the online sign-up or the clipboard in Fellowship Hall.

CLUB 56 LATE-OVER

5th and 6th graders are invited to join us for a night of games, food and service on Saturday, April 13th at 5:00 p.m. in the Loft.  We’ll play minute to win it games, do a Breakout Box Challenge (think a cross between an escape room and a scavenger hunt...really fun!), have dinner, stuff eggs for Easter and watch a movie.  Please RSVP to hlambert@wpcslc.org by April 7!

PALM SUNDAY PARTY
Sunday, April 14, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. in the gym.  Parents, youth and kids will have a special festival Sunday School to celebrate Palm Sunday and Holy Week.

EASTER LILY ORDERS

The Deacons are now taking orders for Easter Lilies at $15.00 per plant.  Orders must be received no later than Sunday, April 14 and forms are available in the church sanctuary or in the office.  When placing your order, include a dedication for your loved ones.

WASATCH PRESCHOOL FUN FAIR

Join us Thursday, April 25th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in supporting our preschool at their annual fundraiser for an evening of food trucks, a silent auction, and activities.  Purchase wristbands ($15) for children planning to participate in activities (bounce houses, Rock On climbing wall, the Drum Bus, games, face painting, balloon art, etc!) at the preschool office or the night of the event.  Email christylawlor@wpcslc.org with any questions.
