PASTOR’S BOOK CLUB
The End of Old Age: Living A Longer, More Purposeful Life, by Dr. Marc Agronin, isn't a sugar-coated depiction of growing old. Pick this book up online or at Barnes & Noble and join Pastor Scott Tuesday, April 24th at either 11:00am or 7:00pm for a discussion. This book is for people of all ages.
Mark your calendar for May 20th! We’ll celebrate the end of our program year with a special combined worship service at 10am in which we’ll ordain and install new officers, honor our confirmands, enjoy the Children’s Choir and recognize our many volunteers.
The survey feedback from last fall was overwhelming, so this Summer, we will again offer just one combined worship at 10am from Memorial Day through Labor Day. As with last Summer, the combined service will include music and other elements from both the 9am and the 11:15 worship.
FAMILY PROMISE IS COMING
We are gearing up for our next Family Promise week May 20th - 27th. We anticipate a harder time filling volunteer slots over the holiday weekend, so if you are going to be free, please sign up by contacting Luana at Uluave@gmail.com or going to the church website www.wpcslc.org and clicking on the Service tab. Also, we are looking for a few brave souls to join the core team of Family Promise volunteer organizers. This is a very fulfilling experience and great way to be of service to others. If you’re interested, contact Allison at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Each Sunday the flowers in the Sanctuary are donated and dedicated by folks in the Congregation. If you would like to dedicate flowers, the sign-up is on the bulletin board in Fellowship Hall.
SECOND SUNDAY BRUNCH
Each month during summer, Congregational Life asks committees at Wasatch to host the Second Sunday Brunch. It’s a great way to reach out to the congregation and make your group more available. If your committee is interested, please email email@example.com.
