Church News

Join us in celebrating Easter this Sunday! There will not be any Adult Education classes, but we encourage all to join in the special Coffee Hours after both worship services in Fellowship Hall.  All children are invited to join the Children’s Ministry Easter Celebration, which will begin at 10:15 in the Chapel.  All youth are invited to help with the Youth Sweets & Seeds Fundraiser or the Children’s Ministry celebration.
Special Seminar

Nearly two thousand years of Christian doctrine have taught “the Sovereignty of God” in ways that may be unhelpful to what we believe and how we relate to Divine Presence. Many Christians assume “God is in control” without thinking deeply about what this means. What sources of spiritual wisdom and practice might help us see more clearly into the divine nature, challenging our prevailing paradigms of God’s way with--and within--us? Through sacred texts, modern and ancient writings, poetry, and conversation, we will explore together what it might mean to celebrate and participate in the Non-Dominant Divine.  Marjorie Thompson, Presbyterian minister and author of Soul Feastwill offer a special seminar next week at Wasatch entitled “Exploring the Non-Dominant Divine”.   Join us on April 20 and 21 at 7pm for the seminar, as well as at 10am on Friday for an open conversation with Marjorie. All gatherings will be held in Fellowship Hall.
