Next week we say a fond good-bye to Rev. Heather Monkmeyer, who has served WPC in so many capacities over the past few years.  Join us for a farewell Open House on Dec 18th from 5-7 in Fellowship Hall.

Wasatch is currently seeking applications for the position of Children's Ministry Director. This is a part-time 20 hour per week position. Adult Education will be examining the season of Advent through the art and letters of Vincent Van Gogh and the day’s scripture. Join us in exploring Advent in this new and creative way.  Meet at 10:10 in the Library.

 We invite you to try a new Advent spiritual practice:

  • Soul Collage on Dec 9 and 17
  • Centering Prayer every Tuesday evening at 6:30pm
  • Visit the chapel throughout the season to engage in the Advent story through our prayer stations

Poinsettias: Order forms are available in the office or from Jan Thomas 801-759-2017 or Jan.Thomas@hsc.utah.edu. Flowers can be dedicated to loved ones and cost $15/plant.

 The Alternative Gift Market will be held this Sunday during both coffee hours. Choose meaningful gifts from a selection of 30 projects assisting communities across the globe.

 Please help support the Sudanese Christmas Project with a donation towards Smith's gift cards.  These families are in need of the basic necessities of life and have limited incomes.  December book: Tribe by Sebastian Junger.  Tribe explains why we are stronger when we come together, and how that can be achieved in today's divided world. Pastor Scott will lead the discussion of this book on Tuesday, Dec. 13 at 11am and 7pm in the church library on the main floor.
